To my immense surprise, there's no anger in his tone. No betrayal or hurt. If anything, he sounds...amused. I glance at Nancy and find her watching the exchange with her bottom lip caught between her teeth, an unreadable expression on her flushed face.

"Look, I can explain," I start, not even sure myself what I intend to say. But Carlos cuts me off with a bark of laughter.

I blink at him, uncomprehending. "You're...not mad?"

It's Nathan who answers, lips curved in a small smile as he meets my baffled stare. "Drew. We've been waiting for this to happen for weeks now. You think we didn't notice the way you two look at each other? The sexual tension was about ready to combust."

"You..." I trail off, gaze darting between my brother, my best friend, and the woman I've just made love to for the first time.
